Universal offers a great variety of cutting edge attractions for the whole family and the flat layout make it easy to explore for the less mobile.

19 attractions make the park and all are built around the movie and television theme. Universal is also a working studio and it is not uncommon for sections to be closed for a short while for the company to film a music video, movie scene or something else but the areas are rarely shut off for long and this adds to the excitement of what you are viewing.

Attractions include the world famous Jaws ride where you take a boat trip and have an encounter with one of the movie world’s most dreaded creations. Men in Black alien attack is a sensational ride where you shoot aliens to score points and compete against your friends for that top score. On Twister you experience what it must be like to live through one of natures scariest situations. Shrek 4D provides a hilarious show that you will not forget in a long time and gives you that laugh out loud feeling. Revenge of the mummy is an indoor rollercoaster that takes you back 3000 years as you battle monsters and fireballs whiz past on your incredible journey. And terminator 2 3D brings the action of this great film to life in an incredible show that is truly breathtaking. With loads of other attractions, shows, live performances and much more universal is a great day for the whole family.

Another great feature about this park is the fast pass system where you can pay a fee locally and your ticket will allow you to jump the queues.

After dark Universal studios still entertains with its brilliant city walk. Loads of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops are available for you to enjoy or why not go and see the latest release at the cinema on city walk.

The best value way to see the park is to buy a flexi ticket, the four park Orlando flexi ticket offers access to Universal Studios, Islands of adventure, Seaworld and Wet”n”Wild while the 5 park Orlando flexi ticket includes all those parks plus Bush gardens. You can buy a ticket just for universal but the flexi ticket options give you the best value and you can even go back to the parks to do your favourite bits again at no extra cost.

Universal also has 3 excellent on-site hotels all with different themes, the Portofino bay hotel offers superb luxury in a great location and is a relaxing option. The Hard Rock hotel is great for all lovers of music and the new Royal Pacific resort is an exotic and tropical haven. All the hotels are a stones throw from Universal.
Overall Universal is a must for any visitor to Florida and a superb day for all the family.
