Orlando is also a great base from which to explore the rest of the sunshine state, Kennedy Space Centre is only an hour’s drive away and you can be on the gulf coast with its warm waters and powder white sand in less than two hours.

Two airports serve the city, Orlando international airport is the biggest and this is served by Virgin Atlantic with direct flight from the United Kingdom, this airport is only 14 miles from international drive and less than half an hour from the resorts hotels and theme parks. The second airport is in Sanford, located 34 miles away and taking around 45 minutes by car, this airport has loads of direct flights from the United Kingdom and some great value bargains can be found flying into this airport.
